CES 2021: Pretec Unveils 1GB MMC Flash Card

Pretec Electronics, a big fan of the production of flash drives with a record capacity, today, at CES 2021, presented its new development – a 1 GB MultiMediaCard (MMC) card.

New 1 GB MMC cards from Pretec are made in compliance with the specifications of the updated MMC standard version 4.0, capable of operating on 1.8V or 3.3V supply voltages, the company claims that the data transfer rate of the new cards is double that of current SD cards.

Samples of the new 1GB MMC cards are already shipping to Pretec partners, retail version of the cards will be presented in the second quarter of 2021.
